Unlike conventional video conferencing systems, Kubi enables users to pan up to 300 degrees and tilt up to 90 degrees. They do so via a remote control interface in the Zoom video conference, and control the robot via a web-enabled device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Individuals can use Kubi to take part in an on-site meeting with several others via video conferencing. Kubi enables visual contact with all discussion partners as well as more personalized, intuitive communication in the best-case scenario.
Possible applications include oral examinations and interviews, virtual presence in classrooms and art projects.
